Welcome to Principal RV & Self Storage, Battle Ground, Washingtons newest and best self storage facility. We purpose-built this facility to meet your storage requirements. This includes implementing comprehensive security measures, staffing the facility with knowledgeable storage professionals, and making our rates affordable and competitive. When you need a place to put your extra things, stop by for a tour. Youll soon realize were the Northwests finest mini storage facility. Our RV storage spaces are like none other in Battle Ground. All of our units are fully enclosed with features like remote controlled automatic doors, electricity for your trickle charger, wide drive aisles for easy entry & exit and a 17 high door clearance. We are conveniently located in Battle Ground just south of SW Scotton Way and West of SW 10th Ave (Hwy 503) nextdoor to the Alder Pointe Apartments.

I reserved a 5X10 unit. When looking at the facility I was shown some of the other sizes and ended up getting a 7X10. I liked how clean the place is kept. The layout with the covered uploading zone at elevators is a plus for the Washington rain. Provided carts to help you move your items to your unit are vey helpful and roll nicely. I actually like the lock setup. The key stays in the lock till it’s put back on. When the key is attached to your car keys it’s easy to not forget it. Even with the lock on your keys, it’s still light and small enough to put in your pocket while opening up the unit. I do wish the unit didn’t cost as much (but who wouldn’t want that) but with the security and amenities it’s definitely worth it in my opinion.

Biggest gripe about my experience so far is that I was double charged (issues with on the phone booking) and it taking me between 10 and 15 minutes for the desk person to realize this. No manager on duty and there hadn't been one for a few days. My issue probably would have been resolved if there had been one. As it stands, it is unclear if my issue has been resolved. I am moving from about 150 miles to the area where this unit is so I reserved online and got a call immediately with someone to finish my booking. They were obviously new. I didn't know I was getting a second story interior unit until the day I moved in 3 days later. I was charged first month (supposed to be a 50% special for first 2 months), a $25 one time admin fee, insurance, and a lock. Within about an hour or so, the additional charges came through at half of what I had just been charged but for unit rent and insurance. I decided to not call the number they offered since I am dealing with closing on 2 houses at the same time and thought in person might be better. Not so, as after 10-15 min of back and forth on why his explanations didn't make sense, he finally saw an issue...not what it was or how to solve it but that what i was charged didn't seem right. Really hope this gets resolved. Also, they mandate insurance and will charge you first....no option to upload proof of existing insurance...and then credit back. Very annoying.

Price goes up add late fees liens insurance, new locks etc price increase year new year. Went from $79 to $179 plus late fees 2 months late over $1000 and they sell your stuff. Make sure you have an updated address because they will send it to your old address and not email you or call you to let you know your stuff is sold. Still waiting on my military documents, tax info and personal pictures that have not been returned. David McCleerey

Mine was a same day rental and it was incredibly easy and fast due to the outstanding staff. I was even able to rent a small truck for the next day. This is a new facility and well maintained. The climate control was excellent even on a super hot day. The facility also has 8 carts that all work smoothly.

Staff is very friendly. They have different storage options, and have equipment to help move your belongings around. This place is very clean. Has security codes to get in and out and through doors and elevators. Overall feels very safe.

Rented a 10x30 space; very clean and helpful staff. Security seems good. Price on move-in is awesome! But after 3 months, goes up pretty steep. Otherwise, very happy!
